A Post

Hey I thought I would go ahead and update my blog. The only really exiting thing that is happening is that tomorrow I am have a Lord of the Rings Marathon. I know some people out there are just thinking why on Earth would you want to do that, well let's just say that that is what I enjoy, Lord of the rings. I have read all the books, know the movies by heart, and have watched the special features many many times. well that is about it.

So life continues and I just recovered from a throat infection and a fever. I had fun laying in bed and on the couch all day long. I got a little bored. I just finished making my rounds and reading blogs. I have not had much going on.

I went to school today and said to every one that today is a perfect day except for the fact we got about 2 1/2 in. of snow and we didn't get a day off or a even a delay. Other than that I have enjoyed looking at the snow and enjoying it's magnificent beauty and lovely sight. Now I feel in the Christmas mood and it isn't even thanks giving yet. I know I am pathetic, but that is just how I happen the feel.

I have just recently learned that Aunt Rachel will be soon moving to North Carolina?. Quite a drive in my opinion. Well that brings me to the point that I have lately been thinking about, How did all of our family end up in Ohio? Ever since my mother was little, my family would flip flop between West Virginia and Kentucky. Some times Texas and occasional another state or 2. All the time they would always be in WV, KY, or TX but how does Ohio come into the picture?

Well One day, out of the blue, my parents decided to move to the random state of Ohio. So we come up here and we have stayed her for now 13 years. I guess we just convinced Aunt Shagga to come up here from TX. Most of this time my grand parents were in Africa. So now we had 2 families in Ohio out of 5. One random day Aunt Rachel moved up here too, but she had lived here for a little time in the past. 3 down 2 to go. When Nana and Papa retired they moved here too. 4 out of 5. But Uncle Mountain Man never did move up here. So that is how we all ended up in the random state of Ohio. Quite interesting I would say.

I wish something cool will happen so that I will finally have something good to write about. Please, if you have any inspiration, please inspire me!

Random

Just in case you didn't notice, I have a new blog background ! Again :) This is no ordinary blog background, no I did not get it off the backgrounds you get for free from what blog spot provides. This is extraordinary! You won't believe I got it from a web site entitled this because, well, I'm a boy. But the place I got it from was a website called cutest blog on the block .com :) Well anyway I picked out something I liked and, well, I like it! They have a very wide variety of backgrounds to choose from. I think It's awesome. I'm not exactly sure how you get onto your blog because Dear Mother did it for me. All I did was browse around and find some thing I liked and Dear Mother did the rest, and Bam! Just like magic it was on my blog. It was quite fascinating, no really it was.

I know I tend to write random posts and you must agree this is one of the most random ones I have ever wrote and well anyway, I am not quite sure where I inherited my randomness from, but I have it anyway. I don't think I have ever posted about a new blog background, hold on let me go check. Jeopardy music plays while Thaddeus scans through all his blog posts and after 2 times of the song playing, he returns. No I have never posted about a new blog background before. And since I'm random, today I went back to my old school to visit my 6th grade teachers, that was fun. Over the summer one got married and another got engaged and my already married teacher thankfully didn't change.

Kentucky! Part 2

Today I ran the 5K and did okay, not great, just okay. When I was at the starting line, I was with Aunt Shaga. When we set out I lost her and just followed every one else. after about one mile Aunt Shaga caught up to me shortly after I got a side stitch ( a really mad cramp in your side. ) and had to walk it out a bit. Once it finally went I away I started running again. The rest of the race I could see Aunt Shaga in front of me and was steadily getting closer. At the end of the race I tried to sprint but my knees hurt to much. So it happened that Aunt Shaga beat me. :( Well atleast she did good. I didn't great time but I guess it was fine. My time was about 31:something. After the race I went and got my frute snacks and sat around and ate my apples. My wonderful Aunt Kathy and Uncle Chris went home. Me and Aunt Shaga had to stay for a money drawing in 2 hours. How were we going to pass our time! We went ahead and found the car and sat around in it with the nice heater. Oh yeah! While we in the car we went ahead and listened to the book on tape we have been listening to since the beginning of the trip. After aout and hour of that we got out to let Abby to play at the park and to use the porter potty. After about and hour of wandering around a little we went to the money drawing. WE WON NOTHING! So we went ahead back to Aunt Kathy's house. On the way home we stopped at Sonic to get a snack ( that's a southern thing ) and went home. When we got home I went out to drive the gater around. Oh yeah! And I went around all day doing nothing. This evening we went out to eat and we had alot of fun. I will see you all soon, bye.

Kentucky!

Just yesterday I drove down to Kentucky with Aunt Shaga and Abby. Because of this I got to miss 2 days of school. So day one: we left at about 9:am and drove, and drove, and drove, and drove, for a long time. After a while we stopped to get gas. So we got back in the car and drove all the way to Cincinnati and ate lunch. We ate at a Taco Bell. We had no idea what we were getting our selves into. We walked in and it was a little scary. So we got out ASAP! We pulled into a random parking lot and ate our lunch. And so our trip continued. We drove, and drove, and drove, and drove, all the way to the Louisville zoo where my second cousin works. We got to the zoo right at closing time. So we got a tour of the zoo in a golf cart with no one around. Instead of a tour it was more like this is here and this is here as we drove around. Well anyway, we finally got to the good part, (drum role boom, boom, boom, boom!!) petting elephants! It was great. I got to pet the world famous Scotty and his mother Mikki. Just recently they were in the People magazine. As most of you would guess, they were a little rough. When we finished that we hopped back in the golf cart and and started to head back. On the way we were told that they were redoing the polar bear habitat. And what is so exiting about that is the polar bears are at the Cleveland zoo! Now isn't that cool or what! Well we got back in the car after a bathroom break and on the rode again. This time we made it all the way down to the farm, hallelujah! And I stayed up all night and watched TV. The next morning I woke up and ate breakfast, took a shower, brushed my teeth, put deodorant on.......uh oh. I think I forgot something. :) So anyway I went to lunch with Aunt Shaga's BFF and had fun ( trying to sweat as little as possible. After lunch we went to check out the 5K course I am running tomorrow. After that we went to Kroger to get pasta and of course deodorant. We went around Bowling Green KY which were I was. We went around three ( or as you would know as four) to get computer chips and tags for the big race tomorrow. After that we went ahead and went back to the farm. I took a short walk around the farm and that is about it. I will update tomorrow about the race, till then see ya :)
